Default Turnigy trackstar 120a turbo esc issue?

Hi everyone,

Im currently running a Turnigy trackstar 120a turbo esc with an Orca rx2 8.5t - I used to run the SP reventon R with SP 8.5t

Recently I have been losing control of my car... fail safe is set and working.
However mid race the car shoots off full throttle and i cant stop it.

this doesnt happen every race... but is happening more frequently... i set the dead zone to a high level which initially seemed to help.. but back to square 1

and ideas why this is happening?

all wires are connected, non are touching etc, all batteries are ok

Nothing to do with the esc sounds like it's more likely to be a tx rx problem.

The tx is a standard TD dex210 RTR one which is less than a year old. Ive ordered a new tx so will give that a go and hopefully that'll resolve the issue.

Plug a power cap in the receiver. It sounds like it's browning out. That should sort it.

I've had the same problem with this esc but only a quick squirt Of full throttle kind of glitch that only lasts for a second. It was really bad at 1% dead band on esc. Better but still there on 3% (default) and totally fine on 5%. Tried a power cap , still had issue so fitted a external bec to power servo and rx. Also i have switched off theremal cut off and Lipo low voltage protection. car is now fine. Have you recently upgraded to a more powerful servo?

I think it was dead band mostly but the other changes seed to help too
