Default T2C Team Edition

Anybody know where you can get hold of the TC02C Team Edition with all the alloy upgrades and big bores on? Any idea of cost?

Does anyone run this version (team c team drivers?) or is the preferred method the pro version with the upgrades? The people I race with prefer the big bores on the tc02c/ x2c is that also the general concensus?

You probably mean T2C?

At least in Finland T2C is 279 eur and Associated B4.1 Worlds is 289 eur. Also Schumacher SV2 and SVR are 289 eur here. So T2C is at a similar price level than other cars. TC02C is of course significantly less at 189 eur.

I personally run a T2C on high grip tracks (carpet in winter) and T2 Evo outdoors (dirt), but as I have no experience of the normal version I cannot compare.

Yes T2C team edition like this one.

Can't find it in uk. I phoned smd today and they don't seem to currently have it. Just wondered if anyone was actually using it.

Tc02C is the X2C pro equivalent

I have an original T2 that is pretty much completely converted to T2 Evo over time (been using the longer Evo chassis ever since I got the car, also changed the rear brace to plastic version for more flex, and the new front chassis and gear diff since this summer). The only difference with such a conversion is the shock towers are carbon fiber instead of plastic. The plastic parts for TeamC are so cheap that I could of course change to plastic towers to make the conversion "complete", too, but I see no point to it.

Yes, the gear diff seems to work ok on dirt and I have been using it ever since it came out, but I might try both back to back at some point. (ball diff might be faster but gear diff is just so nice to have that I haven't bother testing it...)

The base car TC02C is used by our team drivers, they find it's the best way as they can then spec the car to their own style of driving. The majority of the team are using the standard shocks, preferring to use the big bore on the 4wd and short course.

The only place I can find it is tcmodels for $315 (£200). Doesn't look like any of the European distributors bring it in.

I got mine from EuroRC, but it seems to be currently out of stock.

Thanks for the link. I couldn't find it when searching euro rc. Spending €20 euro more on some spares and getting free shipping makes it a better deal still.

Does the kit have ceramic balls?
