Wow Carl, that is a late crossing - you'll be arriving possibly on Sunday morning if you don't stop!

TVR (that me, Dan and Vermin) are setting off from Leeds at 6pm Friday, crossing from Dover at midnight. No stops, probably arriving in the first half of Saturday.

The worlds ?!?!

Speaking of traveling to the euros, well, its all buggered up now isnt it.. I can no longer take my lap top or cameras to vienna unless I hand them over to someone who is driving.
I had planned to take 2 bodies and 5 lenses on the plane in my camera bag with me but now aparently you cant take ANYTHING at all.
Laptop is cheap but my camera stuff isnt and I dont really know what to do.

Jimmy, you must get your camera stuff there somehow!

Will they let the spoon out of the country? Will Dan have to smuggle him out? Should we draw a full face beard on him?

Still trying to figure it out. I was listening to the radio a few minutes ago, some photographer saying how theres no way hes letting his cameras go in the hold. been looking for a suitable case but still I dont know if i would let my cameras go in the hold. Laptop - yeah who cares, but not mi cameras.

Yeah, they are not allowing any electrical components in hand luggage. You will be best PLEADING with your airline compnay to place your camera somewhere safe

nice way to treat jimmy after all the stuff he does for the rc community, eh :thumleft:

I'm sure jimmy is looking at all possibilies of getting his cameras to the euros, i think the effort he goes through to get to these events is 'worth' more than any fee !

At least we know the reason for the screaming all saturday night so we wont have to call the police or ambulance.

It'll smart especially if the big lans decides to come out sideways!
