I'm at work but will try to answer when I get back home. Depends on the carpet but I usually change the car more for carpet than any other surface, normally trying to stabilise the front end (losi black springs, cut 1.5 coils) and generate more rotation from the rear too.
For me carpet is the RB5s only weakness, it can be made to be very special on carpet but not on the "normal" off-road set-up!!

I dont know the english word for our carpet, but it's hard and about 3 mm thick with super high grip. if I directly transelate the name it would be something like this : "pinfelt carpet"

I run the new orion race spec BL esc and motor 6,5t and orion 3800 lipo's

In norway we run schumacher yellow cutted all around due to carpet life.

I also ordered tyres from models in motion over a week ago, and it is still "waiting" emailed them 2 times without any replies, should I try order from apex instead?

hiya all have just seen this. my setup from the petit (from memory as the car isnt here at the moment) is as follows

FRONT

oil 40-45 wt losi dependant on temprature
piston 2c
spring lime green 75
shock tower kit middle
wishbone outer hole
inner camberlink middle hole +1mm washer
outer camberlink inner hole
hub height low (washers above)
kickup 25 degree's
weight 20g on top of servo 20 on top of square bit of the battery strap
ride height wishbones below level

REAR

08 velvet body, 54mm shaft
oil 30 wt losi
piston 3b
spring mauve, blue (imt told 72 but not sure, spring that comes with the 08 rear end)
shock tower 08 middle
wishbone 08 middle
inner camberlink outer hole no washers
outer camberlink outer hole +2mm washers
08 hubs medium wheelbase (no height adjustment)
rideheight driveshafts level
wing in middle mount position

NOTES

shoulder cut off the front pivot balls for rear wishbones, 2 white washers placed behind wishbones to shorten wheelbase, tekin 3400 lipo in forward position
kit wing with half gurney (flies very neutral)

car very easy to drive with bundles of steering, fronts have outside and inside rows cut off and rear minipins run full with mr O medium foams,
8g over weight limit

this setup is for high bite carpet with large jumps only as the oils are to thick for normal use. see setup on page 2 for normal use.

any questions feel free to ask

Most probably, that will be done for Saturday.

Just tried the Ghea rear tow in blocks to make it to 2 degrees. Wow. This make the car as fast as the rest at the top. All I need now is a good driver!

Roger..

Nope, dont run any weight other than the Ghea bulkhead..

At the F345's i ran the same set up and it was awesome.. qualified A7.. In Rd4 i was on for TQ.. then he told me and i ended up up A2 lol..

I used to run 3B pistons all round with 30wt front and 25wt rear... did abit of reading up from Elvos guide and made changes for kiddy and the car did what i wanted it to do

Just need to sort the FS out now... not quite there.. not far off though..

U have a pm

Cheers

Nick
