Starting back up
Hello there, been looking at the idea of starting to race again somewhere as I quit hobby a few years ago when i used to race at oxclose, nissan etc. Just wondering what the requirements are if I wanted to come along to seaham sometime.
I am also deciding whether to get a 4wd or 2wd buggy to race , the dex210 is looking like a good choice so far, what is popular amongst the club? thanks dan |

Alight Dan, you obviously have an idea about racing as you done it before, best thing to do will be to pop down the club when you can and have a talk with people,
The dex210 is a little out dated as I think a new version is due soon so if you did want a Durango it's probably best to wait for the new one. |

I would say the most manufactures cars race at the club maybe the more popular 2wds are yokomo and schumacher.
Elecs ect are maybe a mine field, like I say it's probably best to see what people are using at the club.... At least if you have problems someone may be able to help you out |

Speed passion reventon pro, is the general club racers 2wd speedo of choice.
Works a treat and has top lvl tunning options. Its also cheap in comparison. A good starting motor in 2wd would be a 10.5 or 8.5, Especially for the confines of indoor racing |

As said by Andy P has already said, come along to our club night this sunday from 6pm onwards before you rush out and buy any RC gear, its far better to buy good gear first time round even if its 2nd hand. It will be a lot better than most of the cheaper branded gear whats out there !!!

In 2wd you can expect 15mins+ 4wd 8mins+ with brushless and lipo's depending on motor and mah of batteries used!
