Is a vintage class going to be run at the indoor series ?

Obviously numbers may dictate this so put me down for it as a starter !

Gives me an excuse to go searching for a vintage car too...

I agree stu, I'm looking for a vintage myself and would love to race a vintage class over winter.

Hope this takes off!!!

If there are enough people then by all means. Though if the Memorial meeting is anything to go by it looks like it might be a little too serious.....

I think we'd need to define exactly what counts as vintage. The XX4 Neil was using is far too good for example.

Defo split classes or run in same heat then work out times between 2wd and 4wd if that's possible

Well thats the killer question. So far we've just taken it as 'old' but there needs to be more to it than that.
Normally for 2wd the cutoff is considered the Losi XX. Anything pre XX (RC10, JRX2 and Cougar) is vintage, after its just old.
4wds are more tricky due to some overlaps, but generally pre-Cat 2000 or XX4. That means Optima's, Mids and Lazers, XLS, Pro and Bosscats and all the YZ series Dogfighters.

I doubt I could split the heats unless we have more than 10 entries as it adds a half hour to the day for every extra heat, but two classes in 1 heat is easy to score.

my zxr is 1992 and if its the carbon hop ups i have put on they are from fibre-lyte and they were also making parts back in the day like the carbon tub chassis so its all ok.....as for the xx4 that went on sale in 1997
