Default 210 diff

Is there likely to be a kit update for the 210 like shumacher did with the sv (2011 spec), I appreciate the sv had more initial gearbox problems just wondered if there was going to be a revised diff released with the 210?

Yes it's called the gear diff I'm not the only one having with the ball diff as its been covered to death on here but whatever I do can't seem to stop it slipping, was at York Saturday night and it tightened up similar to what happens when the circlip pops ou stopped it down and couldn't find anything. Got gear diff today but would have preferred to stay with ball diff but didn't finish a heat Saturday night.

I had a problem 1st run. turned my clip around and widened it before insertion and it's never slipped since.

The problem I seem to be having is that the diff seems to slip mid race. I had the circlip issue first time out but that was probably down to me not fitting it correctly but since i replaced the clip it just slips.

I tighten the diff then after a couple of minutes of racing the diff is slipping, to the point on saturday night that the car wouldn't move, when I felt the diff after the race is felt really tight like it does when the circlip pops out, but when I stripped it down the circlip was still in place. The only other thing i can think of is
the nut that holds the diff together threadlocked, if so it maybe worn

My diff has been perfect!, Its got the stock balls & clip, Its never missed a beat. I think its a bad case of people rushing the build then blaming it on the car when it fails

Thanks Durango for a wicked car!!

Whoa whoa whoa! was just a question before i pop to my local hobby store and purchase a 210 not slagging the car or the diff or the people who've built them, just read to death diff problems on here and was curious if a change was in the pipeline?

hi mate i had an issue with the diff too, built it as per website. i think i must have damaged the clip when fitting it as it did as you described. i replaced mine with the xray sprung steel version. and buds ball its perfect now
