Default B7??

Hi guys

Been to Bally’s today I itch an XB2 17 and had a great day. I’m looking at doing the MEOR regionals next year and looking at 2WD options. XB2 and B6.1 are the two most viable options for me, but just wondered whether there was a B7 due as I’d rather not get a 6.1 and then a couple of months later a B7 come out

I don't think there is anything major to update on the B6.1, so I wouldn't expect a new platform unless marketing/corporate pushes that. Since they won the worlds, I would expect something alongside the 6.1DL, with (alu) option parts, perhaps a bit like in the B4-era. I think they released the B6-series in February 2016, the 6.1-series in February 2018... A sure bet is a February release I guess?

Would make sense....

If I went the associated route, and could only afford either the 6.1 or 6.1D which is the better one to go for? Im a complete Novice at Buggys

Hi,

What are you going to be racing on. Dirt / carpet / astro.

The B6.1 is for high traction out of the box it has gear diff.
B6.1d is for lower traction, out of the box it has ball diff.

MiCk B. :-)
