Default 1st club meet of the year is here.

Good news! This Saturday (28th April) will be our first club meeting. Gates open from 1.30pm with racing underway around 2. Practice, 3 rounds of qualifying and a final for all. 2wd, 4wd, SC truck or whatever you turn up with, we will fit you in somewhere. £7 For non members, £5 For members. Membership forms will be available at the track or online and gets you reduced race fees and access to the track on non race days. There are various cost effective options such as parent / child membership. See you Saturday 👍

This Saturday will be our 1st club meet of the year.. 😂

We've added a astro pitting / parking area and hope to add more as we go.

This Sunday sees our 1st regional of 2018, hot food van will be present 👍 😀
Please keep to the rostrum side of the field and do not try to drive around the bottom

I would like to get down to the club meeting.

Are there restrictions regarding Saturday running if competing in the regional the following day?

I am probably making this up in my own mind, but something about track and week before ( is it nationals)?

Cheers
Garry

Unfortunate...I don’t think this is a good idea as regards people who are doing the regional but can’t make the club day. Others get an unfair advantage over those people whether the track gets altered or not.

By the same token clubs, especially new ones trying to get established, need all the support and income they can get. Everyone wins in that scenario, try to see the bigger picture

I understand that Darren...but...clubs only get two regionals a year,so two weeks out of 52 won’t hurt...

We actually can't run 52 weeks straight, be great if we could but weather restricts us quite a bit and due to track alterations etc I've not ran my own car on the track yet..
As regards having unfair advantage, it's no different to racing weekly at your local track, ie I only race at wbmcc, broxtowe and rhr when's it their regionals.

The track will be changed enough to make it fair 👍

Don’t ge me wrong here Dave,I’m not having a pop at you or your club at all. I think you’ve made at great facility at BMR. I just don’t think there should be club meets a matter of days before a regional. I’m sure we had something in place in past years where you couldn’t run on the track the week running up to a regional.
I’m sure it’ll be a great day...and hopefully some sun☀️☀️☀️

I’ll shut up now,you can give me a slap on sunday🤣

A great start to the outdoor season at BMR on a scorching hot day. Ben Smith took the A final today.

Thanks to everyone making our 1st club meet a great afternoon.
