Default soldering iron for at the track

I have a sweet soldering station for at home etc, but what is the best for at the track

12v or Gas? I never had a gas one, no idea if they any good

what are people using

Ive never had a need for one when at the track, but that kind of worries me as I dont have one and its sods law I will when furthest from home

Hey Tony,

I always have this bad boy on me and it's so good, even when stood at -2 at Mendip wiring a motor in on my 8th car - it does a great job. Everyone that borrows it is always amazed too, after owning it for a couple of years there's also no wear to the tip, would recommend to anyone for £15! You're more than welcome to borrow it when we're track side
