Kevs setup will certainly get you going round quickly enough to tune from, I think it works really well on a flat carpet track with well constructed jumps

Does anyone have a good starting setup for an FS2 SP on grass yet? Would be good to get my car dialled in for Sunday at SDRCC.

Great to hear

I'm not sure it's clear, but that was a setup for for medium grip carpet. I'd probably start somewhere close on grass but maybe a touch higher ride height and go from there. It wont be far off though I'm sure. If its cold you may need to go to softer oils.

Thanks for the set up.

Just 2 questions:
Better feel with "small bore" at Silverstone?
Law43 drop down with FS2SP rear wishbones?

Yeah, i prefer the small bore shocks there as I felt the car reacted a bit quicker.

The law43 drop down kit comes with modified fs2 wishbones that have a machined portion the accept the drop down.

See here

Thanks Kev, my Lazer's first proper outdoor meet of the year was great. Managed a 1,2,2 in the finals. Car was very consistent, flew well, and was very strong. Can't wait for round 2.

Is it possible to have a bigger sheet? I can't read the small comments

Some questions for Mr Lee if you don't mind:
-RR suspension holder is LMR?
-I see you decreased the front kick-up. Is it for more turn-in?

Many thanks

Sorry for the low quality.. I tried to reduce it enough to get it on here but obviously went a bit too far.

There was something a bit funny with that PDF I used and it kept overwriting stuff in random boxes.. I didn't notice the LMR thing. That should be "F" giving 3 degrees inboard toe.

I think the front kick up was as per kit, but yes, it should give more initial with less kick up.

I'll get an updated setup sheet to Arno in the next few days as i have a pretty good outdoor setup now (although its not far off the indoor one). I ran at Stotfold Winter series on sunday and the car worked well in the wet and the dry (showers all day).

Cheers
Kev

HI guys.
This WE we have a big race in France. Tom Cockerill will be there.
It's a real "english race" for us... new astro and a lot of rain for sure.

Is somebody could tell me what to do to make the FS2 an ace on the sleepy astro?
My basic set up is the kev lee kampenhout's set up.

Thanks a lot....

I've not forgotten you mate ... will be responding today for sure! Remind me, big or small bore shocks (all my standard setups are on big bore but I can transfer between the two)
