Default Why is my car not that quick with a 6.5t motor in it LRP speedo

I've noticed most of the cars seem significantly quicker down the straight than me. I changed from a 7.5 to a 6.5 but didn't seem to make much difference. I've a b6.2 and its geared as per the manual.

So I'm thinking it could be the speedo settings. I've a few LRP flow works team speedos. So I've checked the settings and weirdly with the instructions dont seem to marry up with the flashes on the speedo. I've checked the firmware and it's set to buggy and the same flashes appear on the other one I have. So maybe I'm doing something wrong any ideas?

Can depend on a lot of things - motor for one. I've a Speed Passion 3.0 7.5 that is dog slow compared to a Trackstar 8.5.

Also are they running tons of boost and turbo compared to you?

Can you get hold of the USB bridge to check it with the LRP PC software?

That's the one thing that put me off a FlowX was the lack of a prog card to sanity check what you think you had set.

If the lights don't align with the manual, you probably have a different version of the firmware. They are all downloadable online so just have check through and see which version alligns with the light of your esc

Yeah I've got the usb bridge and have checked the off road firmware is installed. It doesn't show what's set that I can see only used to upload firmware.

I can see no other manuals online so confusing why the lights are different. I've uploaded the same firmware to another speedo and it's the same

So geared 21/78?
If so it's too low. I found the manual suggestions too short.
Personally I run a 25t pinion on 7.5t HW g3 with boost and turbo...

20/78 as per 6.5t that's a big jump in pinions will I lose a lot of bottom end?

Is it also worth putting all your throttle and brake settings on your handset back to 100% or whatever default is and re-calibrating your radio and ESC?

This. Give the esc a recalibration you might find its as simple as that

If you still haven't got the speed (but just to clarify 20/78is definitely undergeared) , then the answer may be that the batteries are past it...
