Hi all,
I want to start building my DEX410 tomorrow. Are there any special tips you would share? Is the manual correct? Thanks! Alex |

By an M3 taper tap and use it to cut threads into all the plastic parts rather than use the screws to cut their own thread.

Get some good quality hex drivers. Fit the alloy servo saver arm at build time (much easier than stripping down later). Pre-thread the HD ball cups, as per TD website.

Don't forget fit the servo early as it is tight and awkward!

Clean the parts of drive shafts where grub screws go with motor cleaner, will help the thread lock to work nicely.
Make sure that the 14t gear in the diff will come off of the outdrive's hex before you put it together, will help a lot when it comes to diff rebuilds/ changing seals.
