Default quad copter radio gear

Hi all,

thinking of building a quad copter, what radio will i need, i was looking at a spektrum as i use a dx3s for racing,
is a dx4e ok, i have been offered a new dx4e for £20, or will i have to get a dx6,

Personally and without knowing what you want to do with your quad I'd be more inclined to buy a radio which has more channels.

Turning 9x and 9xr are fantastic for the money.

More channels lets you do more things for the future which more than likely you will want.

Post some info on what else your looking at doing ie camera work, fpv, naza or kk2 route and we'll do our best to help.
