Jimmy, there's no section for us racers that have embraced the new 2.4GhZ technology and no longer use crystals.

I took 25 paper copies of the entry form to the last club meeting, and they ran out within the first hour or so of being made available. Quite a few of those were returned and paid for on the day.
I expect we will either hit the cut off limit, or certainly be very close to it. You may be well advised to book early

Thinking of having a go again indoor been about 6 yr since last time. What tires are we now using indoor from memory it was schumacher yellow spikes or pins. Are these still the tire of choice or have we moved on?

Also from memory some venues were better with worn others with new tires.

Any help would be appreciated.

aye yellow minispikes or pins generally, pins would probably be quicker round batley. I guess newer ones do better round batley also.

Yellow pins do go off once they start to wear, but yellow mini-spikes work OK also, and don't need to be new ones.

Ok, just a general offroad question.

Dont shaft drive offroaders suffer with bad torque steer in mid air??? Like the car trying to barrel roll

A bit yes, if you throttle it (to get the nose up) over a jump, the car with lean over a bit.
You can also lean the car by steering one way or the other.
its no biggie really.

Don't worry Jimmy, we booked you in
There are I think 113 entries up to press. 4wd is full and only a few places remain in 2wd. I would ask anyone who has booked in and knows they now cannot attend, please let us know otherwise you may be preventing someone else from racing.

Track will be as big as we dare to allow pitting space. If everyone is sensible we should all fit fine.
Just a reminder to all, track building is 3pm on Sat, turn up and you not only get a say in how the track is, you also get a guaranteed pitting spot
