Default Super shorty....

Hi everybody!
Has anyone tested the new super shorty lipos? (I just know about the one from Nosram).
I would be curious to give it a try in 4wd, as it would be an alternative way to reduce weight on a chassis not designed for shorties.
Comments? Feedbacks?

Steffano,
I must admit I haven't, but couple of things that would put me off from using it on a 4wd, that isn't shorty friendly:
1) chassis balance side to side. With saddles that I assume that your car is designed for the left right balance would be close to 50/50, to achieve the same you end up used ballast and moving esc/rx to the back making the front of the car lighter. None of this being the end of the world tbh
2) capacity, is 2600 mah enough for even 1 a full blown heat with your driving style/motor in a 4wd? I know that my 4wd would be towards the end of the heat... I think in a 2wd they would be fine, but in a 4wd they'll struggle.
Just a couple of thoughts, don't want you to blame the batteries if I ever manage to beat you lol

I've used them in a KF, with a 7.5 motor in the wet, at Herts for 6 min qualifiers and finals. When put back on charge, they show about 7.6v. Think dry conditions, or hotter motor, or 4wd, will be too much drain even for 5 mins. They also seem to produce a slightly softer punch.

Fair enough..
I agree about the low capacity, could not be enough in 4wd.
About the balance.. my 4wd buggy (old Team C T4) isn't balanced with saddles either! Motor heavier than the speedo.
Thanks all!
