MRT mptx compatibility

Are these units backwards compatible as well as RC4? Will it work with RC3? at Crewe (just making sure as it's for someone else) or if someone has a compatible PT for sale that would be even better

Hi
The old unit that the led goes solid on power up will not work on rc4
The new one that flashes on power up then go solid, will work on all systems
