http://www.batleybuggyclub.co.uk/fixtures.html ;)

28th September, its usually 10 per team I think. Possibly 5 2wd and 5 4wd if memory serves me well.

Lee 13-08-2008 11:52 AM

Good stuff, having not done one of these before what does the team consist of is it 2 F1`s, 2 F2`s, 2 F3`s and so on or does it not matter?

bigred5765 13-08-2008 12:09 PM

if i remember right, they stagger the top drivers around the track to even it out, great fun usually.

Yes i think you get 2 of each formula and then the F5's start just before the loop and the F1's start just in front of the loop so they are pretty much a full lap down.
Its a really fun event:thumbsup:

Lee 13-08-2008 12:17 PM

ok as the brca have me down as f5 in 4wd can i be an f5 for this event?

ben 13-08-2008 12:19 PM

Of course lee. Ask northy if you are in the "dream team" lol

Lee 13-08-2008 12:30 PM

Northy 13-08-2008 12:54 PM

The details are being drafted up as we speak/type. There is a lot of wrong details in this thread already.

If you ask questions on internet forums you ususally get lots of answers, all wrong.

Patience is a virtue.

G

Lee 13-08-2008 01:04 PM

What we need is a decent brca rep who will correct all those wrong answers :p

chrispattinson 13-08-2008 01:12 PM

The interclub is usually great, you need to have 5 x F6 drivers and 3 x F0.674 drivers in your team. All drivers in the team share the same car, which must have a mechanical speed controller and headlights, as it is a 24hour event. I'm sure our BRCA rep can confirm these details.

Richard Lowe 13-08-2008 10:09 PM

Can I be a double agent G if Batley is short on numbers? :p

I was always under the impression that it was an interCLUB event and you raced for the club that you were a member of.
If you can't get enough people from your club to Batley then you don't race...

Garry Driffill 13-08-2008 10:44 PM

LIPO? :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:

ben 13-08-2008 10:45 PM

I imagine there are quite a few peeps who are members of both york and batley :eh?:.

ben 13-08-2008 11:50 PM

Well said medders:thumbsup: For example rich and you

Lee 14-08-2008 08:20 AM

I am not a member of any NE club, does that mean i am open to the highest bidder? ;)

super__dan 14-08-2008 09:13 AM

I'd keen for this but NOT to organise the Batley team as 1) I've harly been this year and 2) put a lot into the last 2 and got let down.

Whoever does organise Batley I'd like to race if there is a space.

Lee - The underdogs team is always the best ;)

Rich L - Sort it out!

bigred5765 14-08-2008 10:20 AM

mattys interested to, let me know were and when,ta

Carver86 14-08-2008 10:28 AM

I'd do it if there are any spare spaces. Not a member of any club as yet though!

chrispattinson 14-08-2008 10:42 AM

I think this needs to either be an interclub, OR a general team event. I don't see the point in an interclub, where its not actually the club members racing each other.

super__dan 14-08-2008 05:15 PM

I agree, unless you want the usual York procession lets get it about the clubs you race at most, get BRCA membership through etc etc

Northy 14-08-2008 06:47 PM

Dan, that's what it should have been all about in the past and I think that most of Yorks teams in the past have actually been club members/racers. Infact I think they could have been one of the most 'true' clubmans teams in this respect.

I am also not organising the York team/s.

G

footey 14-08-2008 06:52 PM

no i know your not G as your part of team HULL;)

Medders 14-08-2008 06:57 PM

I would certainly propose that places in the Batley team go first to those who regularly attend (all three of us :woot:) before we start bringing in the fair weather York over spill .

Northy 14-08-2008 07:00 PM

:woot: Medders, looks like you are Batley team captain! :woot: Why don't you sort out the Batley team?

G

footey 14-08-2008 07:03 PM

so G you dint say no to the HULLteam does this mean your in:woot:

Northy 14-08-2008 07:07 PM

Shane the only club I am a member of is York, so if they want me I am available. If not I can be pimped to the highest bidder :woot:

G

footey 14-08-2008 07:10 PM

on a serius note im sure we will get a team together from hull but we might need a couple of racers as not that many of us

looneylen 14-08-2008 07:12 PM

10p as much as we will pay, hope your worth it

Col 14-08-2008 10:45 PM

I give up:thumbdown:

Medders is right here: there is no highest bidder, blah blah blah. If you're not a club member you don't race. Either that or make it a mates team event.

Good job I'm not going or I might get upset and cry a little

woOdy 14-08-2008 10:52 PM

Would you let a Team in from out side the Region?
