Got any idea of the ammount of people going? Dont have a table so Ill try get there early, think thatll be okay e.g. at the doors for 8am? Cheers

Barry Williams 03-11-2006 08:48 AM

Last year at the Aces there were about 60 - 70 drivers, so hopefully should be about the same amount if not more!
Anyone on here going????

Lee 03-11-2006 08:54 AM

Yes i will be there, first time off roading in years:D

Chrislong 03-11-2006 10:16 AM

Richard Lowe 03-11-2006 10:57 AM

Hi Rich,
We are both doing 2wd again, how about you?

Northy 03-11-2006 12:59 PM

At this moment in time I won't be there.

Richard Lowe 03-11-2006 01:46 PM

I've not decided yet Chris, I like my B4 round Teeside but there's some things I want to try for 4wd

Probably 2wd as what I want to play with on the BJ isn't as relevant on super high grip ;)

wacattack 03-11-2006 02:09 PM

Im doing 2wd.

And that has nothing to do with the fact I dont have a 4wd HAHAAHAH!!

Chrislong 03-11-2006 02:34 PM

Hey Wayne, is Craig coming too?

wacattack 03-11-2006 04:45 PM

yes he is mate, not sure what he will be driving though, prob one of the losis he has aquired

Richard Lowe 03-11-2006 05:00 PM

:o :o :o

I can see a day of comedy random failures, he's only just figured out how to get his BX through 5 minutes without his motor wire tie-wraps :D

HAAHAHAHA Im looking forward to seeing more examples of the copious useage of plastic tie-wraps on parts that get hot enough to melt them

sosidge 04-11-2006 01:30 PM

Anyone got an idea how many 4wd's are likely to turn up? I know 2wd is the favoured class down at Teesside.

notlawnomis 04-11-2006 02:23 PM

Email Stewart at Teesside, as he's taking pre-booking entries, might be able to answer your question. Infact I'm going down there later, might be able to find out for you, wouldn't be able to let you know until 7ish though!!

sosidge 04-11-2006 08:02 PM

Did you ask Stewart Simon? I'm going downstairs now to fix the busted tourer, then I might switch the electrics over for the Aces.

Baby's first feed is at about 7 so that works out nicely for arriving at the track around 8am!

notlawnomis 04-11-2006 09:08 PM

Stewart wasn't there, talking to the guys that were there, definitely more booked in for 2wd, but they didn't have exact figures.

tc2k 05-11-2006 07:44 PM

I had a great day, well organised and was good fun. I dont think I did too badly, nor too great (4th in the D). Competitive finals!

sosidge 05-11-2006 08:08 PM

Yes, credit to the TRCC team and the racers, it seemed to be a very well run meeting with a very good atmosphere. I liked the track layout too.

Stu 05-11-2006 08:37 PM

What an excellent day, todays track layout was first class. The cub has applied for the indoor finals, if the event goes further south this time I really hope that the club will apply again for 2008.

I'll post pics and a little report on northernracer tommow night (not even gonna' drop the pics off the camera tonight).

chris68nufc 05-11-2006 08:47 PM

Agree with all of the above.First time at Teeside and thought it was really well ran and very well organised.Only managed to get pole in the B final 4WD which was not as planned but enjoyed myself anyway.Well done.

jimmy 06-11-2006 05:26 PM

Thats what running a Losi did for you rich, upset your balanced B4 brain. :p

Northy 06-11-2006 05:27 PM

I know some people think B4's are rubbish, but Rich, thats a bit serious!

You'll be flushing it down the pan soon! :o

G

ryan 06-11-2006 05:28 PM

The losi should be in the bin not the b4;)

I am,

A - Gonna' get my hair cut tomorrow.
B - Going bald, shit.
C - Going to start wearing socks again
D - A cock-nose

Thats all I can think of for now

Chrislong 07-11-2006 09:58 PM

LOL,
All I can think about looking at that shot, is the whole of the rostrum shouting "Stu move", and then again on lap 2 "Stu move", I think somebody shouted "Great Scott" tho

tc2k 07-11-2006 10:03 PM

Im sure I heard someone shout great scott, followed by a loud "1.21 GIGAWATTS!" which I started laughing at.

Richard Lowe 08-11-2006 06:49 PM

That was Dan

Stu 08-11-2006 10:48 PM

I shit out at the barbers today, couldn't go through with it. I'll try again tomorrow.
