Not that you guys care a fig in U.K., but it's HUGE in the U.S. and gaining popularity elsewhere. We've been selling them one at a time for about two months now, and this makes it official. Paul will have them on the web site soon. He's out in L.A. for the Hot rod Hobby Shoot-Out now. May get it up from there, but next Tuesday at the latest.

Brief detials sent to all of our delears and the UK press today, price and full spec to be confirmed shortly, we WILL be stocking them (contrary to what Chazz put in the other thread) and dealers and customers will be welcomed to place pre-orders shortly.......

Speedy Dad will have his hands full, I guess. I'm sending out a box of chassies so they will be waiting at his house when he returns from Hot Rod. We sold the last one we had the other day.

He's got a full time job, a wife, and two kids. He races himself, and from time to time tries to work on his airplane (real one). I hope Dad can keep up with the demand. He does have a life...

The response to our offer to make them one at a time for E-mail ordering has greatly surprised us, so it's off to the races!

i dont think its for the SC10 althought i think you could use the parts,its for the T4 i think?

There are several conversions coming, one for the T4 one for the SC10 and then a special edition version based on the "PROBST" truck seen above too.....

No new gearbox, but all will be revealed soon.....

Will there be a complete kit available like the X6EC?

This is of course planned for the future too as is an X60 EC also.......

We will have more news on the "exact" release date etc wehn Pauland Chazz return from the ROAR nationals next week, but shipping is expected imminently....

Be warned though, they are not cheap, there is LOTS of parts (some hand made and some high expense) in each of the conversions... but then I guess the best things never are cheap.

The first batch of SCX60 conversion kits for the SC10 arrived here in early December and have been available in stores now for just under 1 month, juts contact any of the dealers on our website for theri latest price and they will all be glad to order you one in if needed....

I think what he is trying to say is "could we have some answers to the above questions?"

There had not been a "question" asked since the end of October and since then most of the "questions" had been answered driectly with/to customers buying them etc either through oursleves or some through our dealers.

We send all of our info out through mailshots direct to the dealers and to all of the forums and news websites etc, sadly we dont publicly announce and reveal every product online, but as many as we can with the limited time and personel we have.

We have answered LOTS of emails on the SCX60 directly and since there were no further questions on here for over two months we would have assumed they have all been answered, the reply today only dragged the thread back up from being dead for nearly nine weeks.

All of our UK dealers have full access to all of the kit detials, pricing, part numbers etc etc and the few pre-ordered ones are now out in the hands of those who ordered them in advance

I think "most" people who had been asking and enquiring about the SCX60 have had the answers they looked for directly, anyone who hasnt feel free to PM or email me....

Not at all, just because one of us is not active on every thread does not always mean we have not answered the same questions somewhere else or directly by emails....

To be fair also, "most" of those questions have been answered in the replies in this thread now already (for those who have not been in touch directly or by email etc),

Conversion for SC10? Yes, plus there is also a conversion for a T4 and a Special Edition "PROBST" conversion with replica body coming soon too
Complete kit? No, sadly far too expensive to put together, three conversions only for now.
Could they pre-order? Yes, but now available from stock though
Price? Each shop will sell them at their own prices so best to contact your local dealers for this, but I had pre-warned they are NOT cheap...

We held off putting al lot of new items onto our website during mid December onwards becasue of the VAT change that starts on the 4th Jan, but as soon as we are back to work on Tuesday, lots of new items (including the SCX60's) will be going online all through January and beyond...

On the price, the sc10 conversion on xfactorys site is $319.99rrp , the t4 conversion is a little more. That should give you something to work on .

I say "don't hold your breath" because another oople member asked on here about prices and availability, the same as I did months ago. It's a good job I didn't hold my breath when I asked my last two questions, as I wouldn't have been able to hold my breath for 3 months.

I did contact dealers as you suggest, 2 of them infact. Both said to speak to you guys as they had heard nothing. I did ring you, and was told details would be released soon. As of today it is still not listed in your online xfactory section. Forgive me for not chasing you every week/month, I eventually got bored.

All of the questions asked have been answered as and when we had the answers for them (3 months ago some of those could not be answered) there had not been a question on this thread since October until your reply this week sparked it back into life, the kits have been here in the UK for over a month now.

As I have said above, we dont ALWAYS get chance to come on to EVERY thread on all of the forums and answer ALL of the questions, apologies if this one was missed. :cry:

As far as dealers go, they ALL have the pricing and kit release info, any that dont will find it in their emails from us, the SCX60 models will all make it onto the XF UK website when we return to work along with many other new items now that the VAT increase will have kicked in....
