Ball cups popping off..☹️

Are there any after market ball stud cups that are better at not popping off than the kit ones? Mine are popping off just altering camber.. and with minor bumps on the track..☹️

How old are they?
How have the turnbuckles been built?
It's not a typical issue on the current generation of cars...

For camber adjustments it's always best to have over adjusted the arms/ballstuds at the build phase. IE, screw them right in, further than you need to, then they're easy to adjust on the car. Add Chapstick/Vaseline/Black grease to them to make it even easier.

As above...very unusual to pop an AE ball stud...Can't remember doing it on B5/B6 at all...something else maybe up?

I had a similar experience with my new B6.1DL.

Used various greases on the threads of the turnbuckles but even adjusting the links as short as possible and then trying to back them out caused them to pop off. I actually think the force required to turn the turnbuckle was ok, it was the cups not been tight enough.

A friend suggested Yokomo part Z2-206DM2 5.5mm HD rod ends.

These snap on really good but are still free enough to avoid binding. They grip the ball very, very well. Definitely a pliers job to pop them on! I actually thought they were not going to fit as you needed so much force to pop them on.

Another vote for the Yokomo HD rod ends. Loads better, use them an all my AE cars.
