Blaze/Shark Shock Advice?

Hi need some advice I have put together a Blaze/Shark (Pretty much shark spec!!) but I need to know what the best shocks are? I have done the truggy conversion if that helps

Thanks for all your help in advance:thumbsup:

if you've got the LRP shark factory team, then stick with those, check out www.uk-microrc.co.uk for loads of set up advice.

most people tend to use the stock springs, with a massive range

I use the Losi mini-t aluminium shocks, which are great as well.

As Mat has said, use the ST LRP shocks. Built right they are the shnizzle :)

As a starting setup try 4 hole pistons all round, 60wt front oil, 50 wt rear oil, black springs all round.

I have a Blaze conversion!! So god knows what shocks I have!! I have read somewhere that I should run the shorter front shocks all round is that correct?

Im confused...You are asking what shocks are the best to buy for your converted ST right?

If so, see my answer above :)

Yes thats correct

LRP Shark ST shocks are the best then :)

Any idea who might have them at the best price?

ems racing do a good job,
or try action model centre who are the official shop of the BRCA micro nationals this year.

Sorry guys just a couple more stupid questions!!

Are the LRP shocks the same as the option shocks from FTX (CML)? and if I am running a ST spec car do I need rear shocks for the front and back?

Really sorry if this is a silly question ;-)

c0sie 04-08-2009 09:32 AM

Isnt a silly question :)

The FTX option shocks are the thinner bore shocks designed for the buggy (Shark/Blaze).

On the wider ST you will need the bigger bore LRP Shark ST shocks, however the FTX option shocks would work.

And yes, you would need to run rears on the front :)

Wow you are to quick, Thought they looked a litlle wider!!

Time to track some down cant find any in stock!!!
