Racing Sunday 23th May 2010

Great weekends racing last weekend, with superb work from various club members on the Saturday.

Anyone aware of Tony and Cam`s coming back racing soon?

By the way 25 degrees this weekend. Nice and dry.:D

Going to tickle both cars for a shake down for the following weekend, the sv pulley pin issue was a shame, credit to Phil Booth for sorting everything out.

The SV needs a little more setting up with roll centres and stuff, but nearly there, with the weather being good for Sunday, the times will def improve. Simon you should achieve a 13 with the sx, just need to put the right tyre on the front, if u know what I mean.

Cheers for starting the thread :)

checked mine and all good.

Hope I candeliver this weekend. SX for me, SV I think is ok for the mo. Just need to change rest of the turnbuckles and change my gearing. May give the gearing a test and reset the slipper. Other than that 4wd I feel. It needs some attention as we can't have the SV having all the fun!

Steve doesn't the XX need a few cobwebs blowing of it ;)

I think I will get thrashed in 4wd this weekend :(

Have a good one.

DHB 20-05-2010 09:56 AM

mikeyscott 20-05-2010 09:58 AM

Looks like the plastic one too, so might flex a bit better. You can't sell it, i have spent loads getting one so i can compete!

dibble34 20-05-2010 06:51 PM

Saying that i will be 2wd this weekend, still waiting on some parts including a front brace for the xx4

mikeyscott 20-05-2010 06:56 PM

I assume dms and mk do the bits?

DHB 20-05-2010 06:57 PM

If i buy from america, seems to be where dave is getting stuff from i think.

mikeyscott 20-05-2010 06:58 PM

What are the part numbers you need?

dibble34 20-05-2010 07:05 PM

I have an old bulkhead you can have. I replaced it because there is some play, but better than nothing. I ordered a brace off dms. Its due within the next 7-10 days and they have said they ordered 2 types. One was £9 and one was £11. I said to them to send me whichever they get first so presumably the other will be available.

mikeyscott 20-05-2010 07:06 PM

Borrow a xx or b4 ;)
