Points Series at Club Meetings
 

As we have managed to get a decent calendar of indoor meetings, it is appropriate to have an indoor points series. Anyone can race at these meetings but only members will count in the points series.

5 meetings have been selected, one each month from November to March, and points will be allocated to club members at these meetings. Best 3 scores from 5 will count for overall points.

The points series dates will be:

13 November 2011
11 December 2011
8 January 2012
5 February 2012
4 March 2012

Trophies will be presented to the winners of finals at these points meetings and additional trophies will be presented at the end of the series - the number of trophies will be based on the number of drivers who qualify. Classes in the series will be 2wd, 4wd and juniors (under 13s - 2wd).

Many of you already have club membership but I need to remind you that it runs out at the end of the year. I will be putting forms out for renewal of BRCA and club membership before then.

i am not brca registered and want to join the club but it isnt worth joining if the membership is up at the end of the year and i would have loved to compete for the trophies and points

Ha thats probably cos you used to be kak and never got in the top three. But yeah keep trying old lad you never know. :lol:

You can pay £23 which will cover club membership from now until Dec 2012 and BRCA membership at £13 - which I will process once I am given the go ahead for renewing BRCA memberships. If the BRCA fee increases then you would need to pay the increase.

I will have some forms at the meeting on Sunday for anyone that wants to become club members so that they qualify for points.

For those who are already BRCA members and want to become club members then the fee will be £10 to cover them until December 2012.

Note also that as a club member the race fees are only £5 instead of £7.

I know how keen you are to promote interest from the U13 age group.Could you confirm, are we to offer a reduced club membership fee to these youngsters?

Yes - same as for this year.

Club membership is only £2 for the year for under 13s but they will still need to have BRCA membership.
