Durango dex410 v3 body week?

Hi just finished building my new 410 v3 and just picked up my body that my dad has kindly painted for me, to my horror the body has cracked both sides at the back i havent even cut it out yet, he also did my 2wd and 1/8th body same time both are ok, it seems the v3 body is very thin in places, has anybody had the same problem? Or am I unlucky

Oh mine seems ok Steve, been using it for a while now,you say it has cracked at the back ,is this the bit you cut out anyway ? The thing I do do is not to use the rear body mount and use Velcro on the edge of the chassis instead as I have had it crack there but only after quiet abit of use.

No it on the side at the back I was going to use velcro as well, one side I think I can get away with it but the other side it's got crackes everywhere

Thats's sad to hear :( How was it cleaned/degreased before painting? Polycarbonate is known for bad chemical resistance - solvents like white spirit, thinner and window cleaners are known to attack the plastic, weaken it and in some cases even cracking it.

I think it must of been a fault as the 2 other body's painted at the same time are fine dex210 and a Mugen body, was at Worksop yesterday and showed Adam skelding Durango man, he said the same and going to send new one out to me so can't complain about that.
