the Trakpower pit pro 559li is not listed on their site from what i can tell the 550 which is, is a 50w charger and can only charge up to 3 cells so will not do the job if you say your battery is 4...

so a 7.4v battery back is 2 cells.

Good supply of cheap good lipos is hobbyking 'Turnigy' I use...

You mentioned the drive shaft boots I am using these on the back of the car and they work well on the back and save filling...
