Well, a little front/backwards movement is okay. For me, it should be no more than 0.5mm. I even use o-rings to remove the play because it provide a cushioning effect when it moves. :)

Yes Dave, that makes sense. It's similar to the Yokomo ball stud where you use a 2.0 mm allen driver to put it in. The tamiya ball stud will hold up well.:thumbsup:
