As theres a wire connecting the +ve of one battery to the -ve of the other the centre balance wire is neither its 3.6v for a 7.2v pack.

The charger is picking up the individual voltages form each...

... The thunder tiger Phoenix is manufactured using associateds old moulds I believe. Check for shops selling their stuff. I'm not sure if the geometry is the original b3 or the later worlds.

Rears are fine but the front stagger ribs will require the front wheels modding.(this isn't just the ansmann.)

The stagger rib is quite a narrow tyre; so it deforms if you stretch it over a 'wide'...

Blue led flashing is indeed low voltage.

all (most) current brushless ESC's will have a cutoff to protect the lipo...

Did you check the thrust-race.

Thats the two tiny plates and about six tiny ball bearings that sit in one half of the outdrive. These get dirty/gritty and sometimes the plates even crack....
