I've been through some recently too, I'm not sure if MIP has had a bad batch or material change, but they're not as strong as they used to be
All the shaft drive cars that use the Losi style stub axle seem to be suffering from this recently.
Nothing that can be done really other than not running the one-way and hoping MIP get their act togeather
