I bought an XRS when they were released, and the only problem with it was the plastic rockers. Not sure if they are still plastic, or if they have upgraded them with alloy ones. I broke a plastic one on it's first run !
With alloy ones fitted, it's a great car, very similar to the X10 / X11, just more plastic. I bought a very rough second hand X10 from a pal to upgrade my XRS with the alloy parts, basically the steering and rockers. From there I never broke a thing. It was a very strong car. Now I run the X11, and it's bullet proof too.
Personally i'd PM or e-mail teamxtreme (
www.teamxtremepredator.co.uk) and ask them for the spec of the XRS, you never know it could have changed with the introduction of the X11 team car.
