yes we do have people running vintage machines as i hava cat 98 that i run sometimes and i know someone who runs an rc10 goldtub
for the winter series i belive you dont need the brca membership but if you want to do the regionals then yes you do
as for the tyres im not to sure if there is a control tyre but you are spot on with the lipos.
