Quick answer is yes it will expand the hub, Problem is as it cools it will shrink again and possibly bind the bearing or crack the hub. Trying to get them to be a perfect fit is very tight tollerance work ( a few tenths). What they would have better doing is making then a few tenths up as using bearing lock tight or similar.
