I've only just got my SC10 so not exactly qualified to give an in depth answer - but assuming your SC10 has a gear diff it can't slip, in which case it must either be the slipper or your gear meshing between pinion and spur?
Edit - check it's not the rear wheel spinning on the axle as well - it's a common problem with the drive pin chewing the rim.
