When I first read your post Mikey I thought you meant maybe use black inserts (? = maybe), but on your Cat you use hard in the front. It wasn't until I spoke to someone else and they said Schumacher black inserts, eh do they make black ones the penny dropped? I'll therefore be using hard inserts on the front this Sunday, as per your suggestion.
Anyway, this is why I thought the medium inserts where black (or more like dark grey) -->
