Whereas the taps did work it seems the leverage of the pliers doesn't. I'm calling it a day now, I've disassembled a full buggy and sorted the parts, and I completely cleaned and rebuilt the gearbox of another one. Just the pinion issue to solve - a nice job for tomorrow! Thanks for the advice so far, I'll give them all a try - unless it comes off at the first attempt  |
