Well it's down to personnel driving style at the end of the day. Probably not many here have driven both to give you your answer. Our club have had a lot of TC6 converts but I haven't seen a great improvement in their times although the feedback has been that it is as rewarding to drive.
I fitted the new Top Deck to my CX and it has really helped the handling of an already sorted car.
As far as set up is concerned both the sites for these cars have excellent ones to download.
