Looks very much like a T2 battery holder, which was designed like that to fit either 6 or 7 cell packs in the truck. I don't know of any T2 battery mounts in white so I presume it has been cut down to match.

Pretty rare RC10 there, it's mainly a Worlds Car, with the wishbones, front shock mount, steering arms and battery strap being unique to that car. It should have a different milled chassis and rear shock mount to be complete but it is the ultimate RC10.
