I wonder if controlled destruction testing is the way forward for homologation of cells?
I.e. deliberately blow up the cells to find out...
A. how easy or difficult it is to blow them up
B. how much energy is released when they blow
If these things become homologation critera maybe cell makers will have to work on inproved vent designs etc to make the cells safer.
