If you ask me you chose wisely not to go for the new (V2/Alu chassis) kit. Admittedly the alu chassis' weight may help grip on the low-medium bite track conditions you referred to (though the MR's tub should do fine)... However, I'm pretty confident a gear diff (as included in the V2/Alu kit) would let the car down on the track conditions you referred to, it really needs a ball diff there.
