I am literally trying to solder the carisma direct to the esc. Solder sticks fine to esc and the battery wires I have put deans on etc etc but the carisma motor wire just will not stick. Even when in through the esc holes it forms a nice round solder joint but the motor wires will just pull straight out. No bond at all?
As I say very strange? Almost as if the motor wires are corroded or something.
I wish I had never tried to make it look neat and left the original connectors.
Is it possible to open up motor and attach new leads?
