I thought a good few of the RC10 re-res weren't good sellers and were heavily discounted to shift them. They only do well when they go out of production, hence it's not worth it for the factory to do them. I'm also sure I heard on a pod cast that the original press tools for the chassis were now worn out or damaged in some way, so they'd have to make new ones. In other words, the investment vs return doesn't look great to the factory anymore.
