futaba 4pk battery

hi guys just bought a 4pk radio set and its not going to be used for a couple of weeks till i get my lipos for my car and im wondering should i leave the transmitter on till the low battery alarm sounds and then remove the battery and store it? any help would be appreciated.

It's a NiMH, so you don't need to do that. If it's a NiCad, then you would.
