Looking to buy one of these now i have sold all my heli stuff
http://www.modelsport.co.uk/associat...products/36535 Will it be competitive as a RTR or will it need upgrading ?? I'm hoping to take it to the outside artificial grass track at TORCH. Any hop-ups/upgrades i should look to do on the B4.1 ?? |

Cheers guys, is there a list of recommended upgrades or known weak points that would be advised ??? Probably afford another 60-80 quid on upgrades/spares if worthwhile.

one item is replace the front wishbones holders for the metal versions. Also replace the plastic servo horn with a metal one and glue the servo saver

I've had one now for about 6 months, and I must say I'm very happy with it. It's plenty fun and spares are widely available, even here in Belgium. Spares which I need loads of being a total noob.
Regarding the servo horn, I 've been thinking of upgrading that, but I find the hole setup confusing. To me it doesn't make sense that the link is behind the horn. When I try to use a alloy one, this setup results in the link touching the servo. Can I just turn the ballstud around? Can anyone post a pic as to how you all managed to set it up correctly.(the brand and type of servo horn used would also be very helpfull). Would this be an option? http://www.integy.com/st_prod.html?p...168&p_catid=98 |
