Won't run it, even though I'm on the SC10 gear diff. I refuse to have any kind of e-clip on my car, ever again. Doesn't matter how big the clip is.

hi guys ,just building my new DEX210 ,now im at the diff gear build section.
i assembled the gear diff following instruction,once is all finished it feels a bit crunchy . is that normal???

If its new then yes after a few controlled laps it should bed in better and be smooooth

had a swift talk/chat with hupo honigl.
He finds that the gear diff is not for a dirt track, just for indoor carpet or astro turf.

I can understand that. now that Im busy with the gear diff and when running on dirt you have to go so thin in oil to get the power down without spinning out.

I have no 50wt Losi oil in my gear diff and had it run in. it is now smooth and not so tight anymore. I feels right now when I feel it by hand. I just have to drive it yet on my track.
