Is Tamiya planning to make a TRF501x-ish car but a shaft driven instead of belt driven? I saw a picture here on this site that had a prototype Tamiya that was shaft driven.
![]() Would be nice if Tamiya made a DF-03 that was more race-worthy then an MS version. Instead of just throwing in upgrades, that should've been in their regular kit in the first place, I mean, plastic shocks? Even the Evader has aluminum body shocks. Would be nice to see a TRF-DF-03 or something. Graphite chassis, shock towers, aluminum lower gear box (like the one that GPM makes), keep the plastic arms, hubs, those are ok... Tamiya, are you reading this? ![]() Now the above picture looks like your run-of-the-mill touring car conversion, but if they can make the chassis layout like the DF-03, I'm sold. Currently, you can turn your DF-03 into a racer, but it takes a lot of $$$ (or pounds for those of you in the UK)... |
