After finally seeing a couple more dex410s run at my track and after running them a bit my self I notice they are a lot more smoother and make much less noise.
When I pick mine off the ground and accelerate it seems to make a rattling sound, it sounds like the wheels are off balance and everything is vibrating (they are balanced) I have my diffs all shimmed correctly and just tried replacing my spur gear. I have tried running without the tires and it still makes the noise. Tried running only 1 input shafts on both front and rear to the slipper/spur assembly, and it still makes the vibrating/rattling sound on both front and rear, it dose not make any sound if I have no shafts connected to the slipper/spur assembly. I just recently put some grease on the outer gears on the diff assembly, so that should not be the problem. Any help would be great! |
