Reviving this 2012 thread discussing wire wing mounts on the Mid. Rama, we can discuss at the weekend
 I found this page which has a pic showing how Kondo and others mounted the vertical wing tubes - there's a bespoke plastic block there, screwed through the lower link mount and then the tubes must be screwed through/into the vertical face:
