I'm at work but will try to answer when I get back home. Depends on the carpet but I usually change the car more for carpet than any other surface, normally trying to stabilise the front end (losi black springs, cut 1.5 coils) and generate more rotation from the rear too.
For me carpet is the RB5s only weakness, it can be made to be very special on carpet but not on the "normal" off-road set-up!! |

I dont know the english word for our carpet, but it's hard and about 3 mm thick with super high grip. if I directly transelate the name it would be something like this : "pinfelt carpet"
I run the new orion race spec BL esc and motor 6,5t and orion 3800 lipo's In norway we run schumacher yellow cutted all around due to carpet life. I also ordered tyres from models in motion over a week ago, and it is still "waiting" emailed them 2 times without any replies, should I try order from apex instead?

Just tried the Ghea rear tow in blocks to make it to 2 degrees. Wow. This make the car as fast as the rest at the top. All I need now is a good driver!

Nope, dont run any weight other than the Ghea bulkhead.. At the F345's i ran the same set up and it was awesome.. qualified A7.. In Rd4 i was on for TQ.. then he told me and i ended up up A2 lol.. I used to run 3B pistons all round with 30wt front and 25wt rear... did abit of reading up from Elvos guide and made changes for kiddy and the car did what i wanted it to do Just need to sort the FS out now... not quite there.. not far off though.. U have a pm Cheers Nick |
