I ran an Intruder circa 1990. It was a fantastic car! Mine had alloy everything! I have a picture or two somewhere...

..classy car and pretty advanced at the time. I never ran the front one ways - hated them.

Here we go..

Added the alloy wishbones after this picture was taken. Such a cool looking buggy. Even had a cab forward shell!

That looks great, do you still have the car? Were the alloy hop ups from RPM?

Guys I did a hi res scan of the nip intruder decals before I sold it. The shell you have Naushad is the Intruder which I had.

Email me and I'll send to you. Then you just need to find someone who will print them! If struggling I can maybe get the guy who did my masami cat decals to print them.

I actually did them for myles who sells the adonis repro decals on eBay but he mustn't have done them yet.

The alloy bits weren't made by RPM. Not sure who made them. All I know is that you could get a massive amount of alloy bits for it.

That painted Adonis looks ace! Love those alloy towers, very nice.

Can anyone fill me in on the Tomy model line up. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know all the models.

Cheers- Jason

Yeah, they are KOSE wheel adaptors from Japan. They are for the Yoko YZ10 etc..

I'm planning to get some decals printed off for the intruder.

If I can gauge interest and numbers wanted then this would be useful.

Thanks.

Intruder - original buggy
Intruder Adonis - cheap low spec alloy chassis, plastic shock version
Intruder EX - Intruder with updated suspension arms

Then there's the Intruders second cousin, the Xpress Striker. After Tomy sold the Intruder design to their Hong Kong distributors they created Xpress and sold a carbon chassied wide tourer version of the Intruder EX.

Thank you for clearing that up. I didn't realise the Tomy Adonis shell was actually the original Intruder design carried over. For some reason I was under the impression that the EX was the original car.
Glad to know now.

Hi. Thanks for your comment.

With sub-c saddles it feel light...say compared to a yz10 '94. But I'm sure lighter still compared to the alloy based 4wd chassis.
