I hate the slipper on this car, came loose again.............cleaned it again, re-locktighted and it lasted through the last round of qualifying and the main but who knows when it will loosen again. But this time it wasn't the slipper nut, in was the bolt that holds the two half's together, used red lock tight this time....

Blitz, I did file down the pin like you said and cleaned off the original lock-tight, but the nut spun so free and easy, I knew there was no way it would stay during a race, so I locktighted it.

Maybe that nut it worn/stretched out. It seems good now though, there is enough locktight on the threads that it can move but it very tight. It's just been frustrating....

Hmmm... I'm starting to wonder if we,re talking about the same screw here? The Slipper adjustment screw? The one we block with a 2mmm hex wrench to adjust the slipper? Or is it another you guys are talking about that is coming undone?

Sort of talking about both, at first I had problems with the slipper adjustment nut loosening, then had problems with the screw that holds the two halfs together, which resulted in loosen the slipper because it took the pressure off the pads.

Maybe it would stay??? It just spun really free and easy by hand, guess I could strip off the locktight again and try it.

If it happens again I will, I do have new slipper halfs and this last time I did put a new screw in as well, so we'll see how it goes.

the problem can be only the nut that U hold with the hexrench wen U tichten the slipper.
if that one has a crack in it or is out off its form (chape) than that is your problem.
not the difhalfs.
if you can pass it on to nathan ralls befor tomorrow morning I will have it sorted at the E.I.R race this weekend .
and your slipper will be fine than.
I have done blitz his slipper at petit and an other giy aswell and all of the belgiem drivers aswell and none of them has problems with it no more.

Wish I could have you fix it for me, but I live in the USA
Maybe, do you have a spare one I can buy from you?

But when it came loose yesterday the second time, the adjustment nut did not move but the screw holding the halfs together was loose and once I tightened it, the slipper was fine.
